For its third experimental programming phase in Ile-de-France, from November to December the Ideas Box will be installed at the Welcome and Orientation Center (Lieu d’Acceuil et d’Orientation, also called LAO) in Taverny that receives displaced minors as well as at daycare at the Childhood and Parenthood Center (le Pole Enfance et Parentalité, also called PEPA).
Last Wednesday, the Ideas Box France team from LWB taught nine people from the pedagogic team of the LAO and from the daycare at the PEPA how to use and take advantage of the Ideas Box.
This week the first youth seminar was held!
The Ideas Box will support weekly activities, such as the creation of a newspaper, art workshops, personal project workshops, French language sessions, etc. In addition, the minors at the LAO will have the opportunity to create activities for the children at the daycare at PEPA.
Thanks to the Ideas Box, the children and the unaccompanied minors will be able to share, create, play, and learn together!
