Funding and community workshop at the Ideas Box in Burundi

This week, from October 26th to October 30th, a funding and community building workshop was held at the Ideas Box in Burundi. This scaling up working brought together 34 participants, 20 of whom were administrators, managers, and teachers from the four Ideas Boxes installed in Burundi.

During the week of reflection, through debates and sessions of sharing, the participants exchanged their acquired skills and practices with regard to the Ideas Box. From these, they were able to distill the fundamental tools and knowledges that will then be finalized by LWB.

The participants came together to reflect on different elements, such as:

  • Pooling the skills, knowledges, and practices used to fill the Ideas Box with culturally relevant contents as well as the technical aspects and the impacts of the Box,

  • Finalization of deliverables,

  • Bringing up to standard cultural mediation and the technical aspects of the Box,

  • The creation of an Ideas Box community.

The main goal of this week of exchanges is to optimize the continuation of the Ideas Box project in Burundi as well as all of the Ideas Box projects to come.
